International Students House (ISH) is seeking one or two new Trustees to join our Board of Governors. We are particularly interested in individuals with expertise in fundraising, digital fundraising, IT, technology, or digital transformation who can bring strategic insight, governance experience, and entrepreneurial thinking to support our mission.
ISH is a long-established charity that supports international students through accommodation, scholarships, social programmes, and a vibrant global community. This is an exciting opportunity to help shape the future of an organisation that makes a lasting difference to students from around the world.
What You'll Bring
We're looking for individuals who can offer:
- Experience in fundraising, digital fundraising, IT, or digital strategy
- Strategic thinking and sound judgement
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- An understanding of good governance and charity operations
- Commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion
- Enthusiasm for supporting international students and cross-cultural understanding
Previous trustee experience is welcome but not essential.
Time Commitment
- Board meetings: 4 per year
- Committee meetings: approximately 4 per year
- Occasional student and stakeholder events
- Meetings held in person and online – Regents Park/Kennington Lane

This is a voluntary, unremunerated Trustee role.
