International Students House is a charity that promotes international friendship and understanding through provision of accommodation, social and support for the international student community in London. Integral to our operations are the facilities and services that support the organisation – ISH Venues, 229 , and The Thirsty Scholar.
Our team will tell you that the best thing about working at ISH is the enriching international community. It’s hard to work here and not make instant friends with people from all over the world. Our company culture is friendly and social, but professional. Whether you’ve joined as a part-time student staff member or are established in your career, we’ll give you the support and flexibility to develop and make an impact.
To transform futures of students from around the globe by providing a safe community in London that fosters international friendship and positive change.
To provide an affordable ‘home from home’ for students of different nationalities and diverse cultures, supported by a substantial scholarship programme, with the opportunity to live and learn together in a safe and secure community of mutual respect, understanding, and international friendship.
We offer a range of generous company benefits to ensure our employees remain happy, healthy, and productive during their employment with ISH. Here at ISH, we are proud to be an accredited Living Wage employer and are committed to paying the Living Wage, as set by the Living Wage Foundation for our employees.

Employees are able to work flexibly to retain a good work/life balance. Working at ISH is great because we are like one big family, all departments work together like a well-oiled machine and we have one common goal, to make ISH the best student residence in London.
I love that we do team games and competitions that help all departments bond together. ISH staff have a few nice perks like the simply health and lunch allowance which is a nice little bonus.
