About the Role
We are seeking a creative, organised and enthusiastic Marketing Intern to join our dynamic Marketing team.
This is an exciting opportunity for a current student looking to gain hands-on experience in marketing and communications within a unique charity that combines student services, events, hospitality and live music.
You will contribute to the development and implementation of ISH’s marketing and brand growth strategies, working collaboratively across departments to support consistent and engaging internal and external communications.
Key Responsibilities
- Work with the Marketing Executive to manage and grow ISH’s social media channels.
- Support the planning and delivery of communications projects, events and campaigns.
- Create engaging content showcasing student life across multiple platforms.
- Develop marketing materials and creative assets to support engagement activities.
- Assist with general marketing administration and gain broad charity-sector experience.

Person Specification
We are looking for someone who is:
- Currently studying for a degree in Marketing, Communications or a related field.
- Skilled in content creation (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube).
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
- Proactive, adaptable and confident working as part of a team.
- An excellent communicator with strong written and verbal skills.
- Able to manage projects effectively without compromising quality.
Desirable:
- Photography and videography skills.
- Knowledge of Content Management Systems such as WordPress.
Hours of Work
- 37.5 hours per week, worked flexibly to meet departmental needs.
- Usual hours: Monday–Friday, 9:30am–5:30pm (30-minute lunch break).
- Some evening and weekend work will be required.

- £24,785 per annum (pro rata)
